Ah, Homura had gotten caught, as Gin readded the map to the deal. Oh well. The trick had never been very likely to work in the first place, and it was no major loss.

"Done." And from a practical viewpoint, Gin had goten the better of the deal. Homura would have to pick his questions carefully. But for now, Homura kept the first part of his word, relaxing in his seat. "The creatures were the size of a man, an had a strange sort of glow about them. Three came at once, all with long claws extending from their fingers. That appeared to be their only weapons."

Pausing, he sipped his water casually. "They have a single spot near the base of their spines. It appears to be the only weak point on their bodies. A weapon can be thrust there to kill them." Of course the frenzy of the creatures was likely important to mention...but why give away something for free when Gin had made him work so hard?
