Claire turned to the stranger, a bit embarrassed at her rudeness. After all, how could she have missed someone like this? She'd never seen anyone like him. And how was his hair doing that?!

She gave a warm, polite smile. "Hi. Sorry, I'm usually not so spacey. My name's Claire."
