Lloyd's head jerked up in immediate alarm. Albert may have been referring to himself, but that wasn't where his mind jumped when the other man uttered those words. "You saw a body? When? Where?" Damn it, were the doctors hurting people during the day now, too?

But then, they'd made people sick during the day. Was this really that much more of a step? The thought made him angry, even as it scared him. It would be so much harder to defend themselves during the day if something went after them. They wouldn't have any weapons or powers, nothing to fight back with. There were so many more nurses, too. If he saw them doing something, he knew he'd fight no matter the odds, but what kind of chance would he really have?
