This morning. That meant that Albert hadn't been here much more than an hour, if that. Not conscious, anyway. Lloyd still didn't know how long he'd been out before he woke up in this place. But that also meant that Albert didn't know anything about this place. Lloyd was the first person with a chance to warn him.
"Sure," he said soberly. Unconsciously, his right hand rubbed the back of his left hand, which was wrapped in bandages. Still not completely healed, but the raw edges around the false Key Crest beneath didn't feel quite so raw anymore. "But you have to take what I say seriously. This place is dangerous. It's not what it looks like at all, no matter what the nurses say. I'm not sure if they really know what's going on, but the doctors definitely do." The doctor who'd cut his Exsphere off had openly admitted it, in fact.
"During the day it's okay," he went on. "They just treat us like we're crazy and they won't let us go anywhere by ourselves. Once it's night, though, that's a different story. We can try to get out, but there's monsters, inside and outside, and the doctors do experiments on us."
