In terms of supplies, Guy really hadn't obtained that much. Getting some food for them was really the bare minimum of what they might need, but it was better than nothing. His hope was that Anise had picked up a few more things, and Guy had already checked to make sure she she was bringing that money she'd found in the ruins with her.

When Claude suddenly brought up that gift he'd mentioned the other night, Guy blinked, glancing over at his friend. He'd completely forgotten about it because so much else had been going on, between Lloyd's disappearance and their trips down to the caverns.

Carefully, he reached out to take the not-quite-necklace from Claude, listening carefully as he explained what it was. "To hold data?" He glanced down at it. It was so small. He couldn't imagine that enough writing to make up a book would actually be held on something like this, but he also trusted Claude. "How does it work?"

Either way, he was touched by the gesture and broke out into a warm smile. "Thank you, Claude. I look forward to when I get to read all of it for myself. And in the meantime, I'll take care of it." He slipped the flash drive into his pocket, figuring that it would be safer there than worn around his neck.

At that point they reached the door into Luke's block, and Guy led them through.
