Even though the terrain looked inhospitable even in the light of day, that didn't keep Lloyd's thoughts from drifting to the possibility of making an escape. He'd traveled through what he was sure was worse territory, even adding in the monster he, Flora, and Lee had run into the night they'd tried to break out. The only reason he'd had better luck in Gaoracchia Forest, he felt, was the fact that he'd been in a larger group and they'd all been fairly well armed.
