Guy didn't give much of a reaction to Anise's gushing, but that was pretty normal. Maybe one day he'd warm up to the idea a little. Maybe.

"Yeah, that's true..." Anise almost sounded disappointed (though not sincerely so), but her tone quickly brightened. "But this means we'll be in top shape when we head out into the unknown!" Her sitting position was a little awkward, and now that the bus was moving and the nurses weren't paying too much attention, she slipped her shoes off and put her legs up on the seat, sitting fully sideways.

"And we can stock up on supplies, too," she added once she finished shifting around. "Do you know what you want to buy yet?"
