Night 69: F1-F10 Hallway
There was little point in waiting. As soon as Soma heard the doors unlock, she was up and out of her seat.
Flashlight, knife, gun, ring. She straightened her uniform, glanced over her side of the room one last time to make sure she hadn't missed anything, and was off.

Lust was beyond having any idea what to think anymore. Even death didn't mean a thing in this place, or so it seemed. When left alone in her room, she changed into her dress - leaving the boots, her feet were still hurting her - and gathered her supplies.
She hadn't bothered to make plans, but she had found she never really needed to. She'd run into someone, likely known, and that would be that. Perhaps Scar tonight. She hoped he was alright. Whatever had happened to him earlier had been strange, to say the least. Deafness, random and during daylight hours. But day didn't seem immune to the tortures of the institute any longer.
Well, perhaps something would be accomplished tonight.

Then for the weapons. If there were only going to be two of them up against a horde of monsters, she was taking a small army down with her. The healing stone and stunner -- and her rarely-used flashlight -- went in the ludicrously cheery little purse her alter ego had left her; the rest she carried. The stunner would be faster to grab in her cleavage, but Rita had made a face at that last time; she'd have a chance to move it before things got hot. Then she strapped on the claw on her right hand and took the throwing star in her left; she was ambidextrous, but the claw wasn't.
That would have to be enough.

It took her less than a minute to cross into the other hallway and knock on Leanne's door. That there wasn't anyone milling about in the corridor didn't strike her as odd, but what did worry her was that, after the second knock, there was still no answer from within. Had she really missed both Leanne and her roommate? Tsubaki would've seen her pass by, surely...
She knocked a third time, then waited a beat. Nothing.
Tsubaki's gaze dropped to the door handle. Should she...? It wouldn't be the first time she'd looked around someone's room without permission, but... I'm sure she'll understand! Especially since Tsubaki had a bad feeling. Once she took a hold of the door handle and eased the door open, that bad feeling became more than just an nebulous sense of anxiety.
There was nothing inside--nothing at all. No dinner trays, no personal touches. It looked... uninhabited?
Maybe Leanne was moved to a new room.
As Tsubaki poked around the drawers, looking for some sign of her friend, she tried to make herself believe it. After Shiina and Rapunzel, however, believing in the benign explanation was difficult. In the morning, maybe she would be able to find out what had happened... There was clearly nothing left in the room that would point her in the right direction, and no convenient nurse to ask.
With one last look around the room, Tsubaki sighed and made her way back out again.

Then she slid out into the hallway.
