That wasn't the first time he'd been called insane, and the doctor wasn't about to argue against it. He realized that he'd sacrificed plenty of things to get here, and yet he had no regrets about it. Some could argue that that was because he'd already lost any sense of who he was and what morals to adhere to, but it didn't bother him.
"That's the idea, yes. Don't worry, you'll be released soon enough. Have a nice night, Lloyd." The doctor moved away, picking up the container that held Lloyd's removed Exsphere, and with it tucked under his arm he headed for the door, stepping through and then letting it shut with a loud clang.
For a few moments there would be nothing but the echoing silence. Then the light above Lloyd's head would flicker out at the same time that his restraints came undone and the door unlocked. But the doctor would be long gone by that point.
