Al would feel horrible about this, but in the moment he was still terrified and trapped in his hallucination. He turned along a corner, peering nervously down a hallway--which incidentally seemed to be on a path to one of the tables.

One of the nurses noticed Al's unusual behavior, and motioned to one of the others before heading over to intervene.
