"Indeed!" Lee grinned, a large grin spreading across his face. "I am a shinobi warrior; a ninja of Konohagakure in the Fire Country!" In much of his experience most patients had not heard of his village or his country, but he was always hopefully he might run into someone at least vaguely aware of it. Just a hint of hope shone in his eyes.

"Ah, another warrior!" Lee felt that in itself was an auspicious sign! Of course, most of the others he had met in the institute had some form of fighting skill, but that was beside the point. "And one trained up from a civilian way of life! Was the transition difficult for you, or have you been working on your skills since childhood?"

Lee knew civilians could often take up arms against enemies, but he had to wonder how effective they would be against those who had dedicated their lives to battle.
