Ryusei glanced up from under his hair. That answer had been too easy, too casual. Ryusei had worded his question the way he did so that he didn't seem threatening even if he wasn't believed (unless this person was one of those who was irritated by cheerfulness, but it wasn't that much of a loss if that were the case) and he could go on making other conversation. The answer he'd received was not what he'd expected. But then, he hadn't expected much of anything, not really. So why did this bother him?

What did the answer indicate? A miss? Ryusei didn't know enough yet to say for sure. "You seem knowledgeable!" Why had he trailed off? "... Did something happen? With a transformed nurse?"
