A thrill of ice-cold fear went through Al; he yelled and let go of the cat, sneakers screeching across the linoleum as he tried to fight the tug of...whatever the hell had a hold of him. He reached up and grabbed at the fingers, desperately trying to pry it loose from his head as his heart hammered in his ears. He just got his body back, he couldn't fall prey to the monsters here so soon!
"Brother, catch!" he shouted, tossing the sword to Ed and grabbing at the hand with both of his, bracing himself against the pulling and trying to get back to the others.
