Leanne could only stare at Tsubaki at first, not at all sure she'd really understood what the girl was telling her. Was this... This did have anything to do with what the boy she'd met had told her about? About his roommate being taken during the night? Certainly, Tsubaki hadn't been taken away, can't have been if she was standing right there in front of her, but an injection? Just what were the nurses playing at, if they even really knew what that injection was supposed to do.
"You," she began, stopped, and took a deep breath. "You're really feeling okay? You're not feeling sick or anything? If you start feeling that way, you'll tell me, right?"
All too aware of how hypocritical it was, of how she herself hated to let anyone worry about her health, Leanne still couldn't help but ask, to assure herself she'd know if anything changed.
I'm so glad... :'D
