This trip was going pretty well so far, at least. They'd reached the second floor in much less time than before, clearing the lower floor hallways and the stairwell without running into any trouble. Once again, there seemed to be no one up here. The same advantages and disadvantages applied here as they had the night before. At least this time they wouldn't have to stop for anything, unless some creature decided to say hello... (And rest assured, Zero had a little 'friend' to return the greeting with if that happened.)
Moving on. They were halfway to the closet now. The once-Reploid walked silently, only briefly pausing at one point to look back and check on his companions. And all the while, he failed to notice the stares they were giving him for his coat, as he was too focused on moving the group ahead as quickly and quietly as possible. Even if he did notice, why should he care? It wasn't like he was making a fashion statement, nor did he particularly like or dislike the color pink for any reason. (He was not Elpizo, thank you very much.) It was merely a symbol; a reminder of something else to fight for. A reminder that that 'something else' might very well be in real danger right now.
It was something to approach his allies about later, when they weren't running around in the darkness looking for weapons.
