For all that Aidou seemed to admit to needing the substance, he was oddly reluctant to be forthcoming about the fact that he needed blood periodically -- Sasuke still wasn't sure which others in the Institute Aidou used to sustain himself, and while random attacks in the darkness fit the vampire legends he'd heard as a small child, he suspected they were far from safe right now with the infection. That suspicion was confirmed in the next moment by Aidou himself, sounding weary enough with the awareness of it that Sasuke made a note to himself to pay closer attention to the population.
