It made sense, and Gabriel preferred it this way to the night before. This way, he knew there were others. The corridors didn't feel empty.
That is until he remembered that any number of people could turn at any moment, and they were potentially as much of a threat as the darkness. Repressing a shiver down his spine, Gabriel waited a moment to make sure the doorway was clear before passing through himself.
