Once he'd positioned himself firmly behind the two humans, the Heartless rose up out of the floor, fully formed yet again. These two were both familiar -- one from the night before, and the other in a different way. The second one struck him as a threat somehow, in a way that might have only been subconscious.

Or maybe it had something to do with the sword in his hand. Not a key, but still dangerous.

Either way, the Anti-Form had no interest in letting them get the jump on it. It sprang off the ground toward Tsurugi, targeting the weaker one in hopes that he could tear through and finally reach the heart that had been withheld from him.

Once again, there was no sign of Sora, or of any of the regret that he'd expressed throughout the day. The Heartless was an empty husk, but one with claws and hunger, and it would not stop.
