Their attacks had all hit, and the monster was definitely in pain. Even its movements seemed to have slowed down. Lloyd felt his spirits lifting up. They could do this. They had a chance. They just needed to keep going and finish this before the monster had a chance to recover. Throwing caution to the wind, he lunged right at the beast, knife slashing at its throat once more to finish the job he'd started.
