The question would have been laughable under most circumstances, but Claude had suspected that he might be a little unsure about how nighttime worked around here. He couldn't really relate, since that was the first thing he'd seen about this place. But, a lot of the time, seeing was believing.
Still, that didn't mean he was just going to sit back and let Lloyd walk out there unprepared.
"Yeah, I'm afraid so," he grimly replied. "You'll see in a few minutes. The Head Doctor sounds all nice and cheerful now, but he'll change his tune as soon as the sun sets." That, at least, should serve as a big clue that something strange was happening.
"The doors will unlock, and then you'll be able to head outside," he said with a frown. "It's the only way we can figure out what's going on, but he also doesn't always make it easy for us. Sometimes there are monsters, and sometimes he brainwashes other patients into attacking each other. I think he actually enjoys it."
