With his felt, scissors, thread and buttons arranged on the table, Facilier pulled up a chair and sat down before his work. "I thought the ignorance of the masses restricted my powers, and other things," he said as he began cutting out his first piece of fabric. "But this here Landel's has taken the whole proverbial cake and then some! I'm just doing my best to pick up the shattered pieces of my craft, even if it means working with materials meant for school children..."

With one square cut of fabric done, Facilier gave Seishin a brief glance before he trimmed up some more felt for his gris-gris. "Did y'all have any sort of magic back in your home world?"
