Like, really really wanted to. Losing senses: did not sound like fun. All he had to do was look at Harvey, though, to remember that losing a sense was probably not the worst thing that could happen to a human body. He couldn't even imagine what it must have been like for the guy to go through... well, that. It would be the noble thing to do to spare Harvey from having to lose anything more.
