It didn't take long for one of the many identical men to step forward and engage them, but for now it was all talk. Guy got the feeling that wouldn't last very long, though; nothing here did, usually.

Anise and Claude were quick to talk back, and Guy was glad to see that despite the obstacles in front of them, they were ready to proceed. When their very humanity might be on the line, though, it made sense. Which was why he had no intention of backing down, either.
