Loki let the boys run past him; an instant later a second image of him appeared further down the hall. He grasped at the air and seemed to pull a wicked looking dagger from it. "Rude," he said, stepping into the hall to be directly in their way.
"You seem to be a bit unclear on how this works." Loki spun the dagger idly in his hand. "I've a purpose I must obey. I'm a wall. There is little I can do if you insist on throwing yourself upon me, no matter how unpleasant we both find it. So I'd really rather you didn't, all things being equal." He frowned.
From behind the boys, the Loki that still stood there said, "Really I shudder to think what will happen to me in such a case, considering what's already been done."
