As awkward as dinner had been, it could have been worse, considering. As soon as the intercom with it's less-than-optimistic message had gone quiet, Locke changed his shoes and left, eager to meet up with Tolten and make sure he was still okay and --more importantly-- still here.
As he entered the hall, his shoulder felt the need to remind him he was injured and he winced. Between that and his sickness all he could hope for was that he wouldn't be a liability if they were attacked tonight. Of course...as the head doctor had so kindly informed them, it was a possibility that one of them might 'change' due to this sickness; a thought that filled Locke with dread.
