"So it seems," Edgar said, still rubbing his head. He had to agree with some of the injuries he'd seen and rumors he'd heard that perhaps he was one of the lucky ones by being knocked unconscious in the initial stages of the night; however, that meant he couldn't keep an eye on his allies and was made vulnerable to any creatures that would attack someone rendered completely helpless. At least the monsters seemed to spare patients who didn't fight back, though whether it was of their own volition or by Landel's orders was a question that went unanswered.
