What was this all about now? While it was true that Lawrence had never quite fit into the family in the same way, Chuck was honestly hurt that his brother would ever think that that meant anything. Anything he might have convinced himself of was completely fabricated, and Chuck knew without a doubt that Lawrence was the person he worried about the most.

They had grown up together. He couldn't remember a time when Lawrence hadn't been in his life in some way, even when he'd moved to another part of the country. So why was he behaving this way?

Whatever was causing it, Chuck had to try and put a stop to it somehow. He couldn't let his brother try to run from him anymore. "Lawrence, please. I know you've been having a hard time, but you know I'm no liar. You're my brother, and after coming all this way, I think the least I deserve is an explanation."
