Normally, he would have taken the time to object to being given a name like "Ginger", but Kratos didn't feel like expending the effort when they were meant to be running for their lives--or, other people were meant to be. Instead, he merely nodded in return and followed them down the road, trailing behind just enough to watch their collective backs.
He could have groaned when Rapunzel decided that they needed to stop, but if her friend's leg (Eugene) was really as bad as her reaction said it was, she was right in that they needed to pull over and take the time to address it, lest Eugene keel over from blood loss. He hadn't noticed the wounds back in the bus, but then, he had spent most of that time worrying about whether his spell would work or not, so perhaps that was forgivable.
Kratos quickly scanned the surrounding area, searching for a place that would give them sufficient cover. They were approaching the forest; the trees might be able to at least buy them a little time by blocking the aquilas' descent. "There", he said shortly, pointing toward the clump of trees that was coming up. "If we're going to stop, we should do so in the forest."
There were monsters in the forest too; he had not forgotten about the abnormally-sized cockroaches. Cockroaches, though, were much easier to handle than aquilas.
