As Barnaby listened to her explanation, the bus's engine rumbled to life, and his seat began to gently shake beneath him from the force. He'd half-expected the extra noise to jostle Kotetsu awake, but the man barely stirred against Barnaby's shoulder. It didn't matter, though. He could fill Kotetsu in on whatever he learned from Renamon later.
