"Hmmmmm....?" The hum came out in the tone of 'Is that so?' and he left his wrist in Hijikata's grip, stretching his fingers as far as they could to try and poke at him again. It wasn't exactly unusual for people to stay in at night, but it was a little strange to see how sullen Hijikata was about it. His fingers relaxed and Souji rolled toward Hijikata, taking care not to put too much weight on him, but making sure to put just enough that Hijikata could definitely feel the pressure.

"Hijikata-san has an honest face," he teased, moving his free arm now that he wasn't using it to prop himself up so he could finish the last few bites of his gifted dessert. "Were you thinking of something before I came in?"
