"Aaah...yes, of course." The obvious way was rarely the right way. Besides, if there was a way out with no defense at the door, then that meant there was defense outside. As far as he could tell, he didn't have his defenses anymore and he was willing to bet that, with his new-found resistance to sunlight, came a new vulnerability; if he lost an arm, a leg, or suffered some other injury...he suspected the consequences wouldn't be like normal. No, staying inside sounded like a better plan.

"Well, then, that only leaves the rest of this place to explore~! It seems large enough, I'm sure there will be plenty to see." He thought about leaving it at that but then had another question occur to him. "Mmmm~ Do you mind if I ask you a question? I only just woke up here this morning and I don't know this place at all, is there anything of particular attention, rooms or something, that stand out? Aaah...that makes no sense...like...landmarks. Landmarks within the building." Yes, that made more sense. He couldn't help sounding rambly, usually he didn't have to worry about this sort of thing; he didn't want to end up getting lost.
