She would have folded her arms, but the flashlight in one hand and the candlestick in the other made it a little unwieldy; instead, she tucked them both behind her back and pointed the flashlight at the floor; light haloed out around their feet.

"Tell me you have somewhere we ought to go tonight, will you?" It had the bite of an order behind it, even if it made very little sense as orders go.
