After a visit to the bulletin board, Edgar showered quickly, having thought he saw Locke heading out on his way in. While he'd often preferred warmer showers, their heat more akin to the desert he'd been acclimated to his entire life, he found himself liking the colder temperatures these days, the cool water helping stifle that inner fire. He sighed, knowing this was probably going to be the norm for the rest of his life.
