"She has?" the Scarecrow asked in surprise, as if Scar's statement hadn't been explanatory enough. He didn't think of himself as worth mentioning to anyone, but perhaps this Scar was another nonhuman, as well. He certainly seemed as chipper as the other one— that was to say not at all— but then again, it wasn't as though all lions were so grouchy. Cowardly Lion could be perfectly polite when he wasn't terrified of his own shadow.

Of course, there was another possibility. With as odd as he'd been feeling all day, he was having trouble remembering all the things Lust had said, but one point did stick out in his mind. "You wouldn't happen to be the person from her home, would you?"
