'That radio boy' must be related to their mission tonight. She got the feeling he and Landel didn't get along. Too bad the traitors (there had been more than one?) hadn't found a way to organize an escape route for the prisoners, but maybe helping them wasn't what they'd been aiming for.

But something hadn't gone right for Landel, had it? It sounded like someone had escaped. Someone important enough to get a reaction like that out of him.

And she guessed what Landel said was right; if he'd designed this place (why else would they have named it after him?), only he would know how to get everything back under control. She wished she knew what he was talking about when he mentioned their 'hideous behavior', though. Had something happened to make Aguilar step in? Did Landel lose control of the prisoners first?

And why were both of them so bent on hiding the truth about this place from citizens of their world? They were taking people with unique abilities and putting them in this dimension... to train them. Why?
