It was interesting how a lot of these people already began using his given name. In his own culture, such a thing would have been offending, but the former priest knew he couldn't expect all everyone to be familiar with Japanese customs, especially because there were so many people from different places. However, it still took a little use to.

He smiled politely at the introduction, and he maintained the smile even when Facilier-san began questioning his origins. Considering all that had occurred in Sotoba, it was not a subject he was willing to discuss. Still, it would have been rude to ignore the question.

"I'm from a tiny, isolated village in Japan," the former priest said, though he didn't specify the name of the village for obvious reasons. Considering the man's Western name and features, he probably wouldn't have heard of it anyway. But even with that in mind, Seishin would gladly steer the conversation away from himself.

"Where are you from, Facilier-san?"
