Though that's probably for the best, since if we did know of your land, my people would likely be conducting raids on it and all sorts of other unpleasant business." His smile became both sheepish and apologetic. "Perhaps you've heard of Vikings?"

He considered what she said about aliens. "Different versions of Earth. Hm." It was theoretically possible, though he hadn't ever gotten around to personally trying to see a parallel universe. But that would make sense, he supposed. And if it was a matter of not just different realms, but parallel universes all being subjected to abductions by this Landel fellow...

That was some technology he'd really like to get his hands on. Which would of course involve separating the owner of said technology from his head or at least most of his vital juices, which was a side benefit.
