“Ah, right, of course,” said Tsubaki. Well, that pretty much settled it! It looked like she was going to be making a new acquaintance after all, and there was nothing wrong with that. “Thank you.”

Setting her lunch down, she pulled in order to take a seat. It was almost a bit nostalgic, to be referred to as ‘Lady Nakatsukasa’, as if she were her mother or… well, more than just the average Shibusen student.

“It’s all right by me if you don’t want to call me something so formal. ‘Tsubaki’ is less of a mouthful if you like,” she offered with a smile. “Do you prefer Lingormr-san, or… Mr. Lingormr?” Not everyone used Japanese honorifics, but it was always better to be safe than sorry in that regard. In response to his question, she nodded. “Oh yes, it’s fine. I hope yours has been all right, too? I‘m sorry, I‘m not sure I‘ve seen you around for very long. Have you been here awhile?”
