Her attack seemed to perplex the ogre, but it didn't seem to have much effect. Those things were just huge tubs of blubber on legs! Well, if ki energy wasn't going to work, then real physical damage might be needed.

The ogre's sudden dive at her caused Ilia to turn tail and run. She had only taken a few steps when Rose went soaring over her and started attacking Ilia's ogre. Well, if they were going to trade targets, Ilia was fine with that. She rushed Rose's discarded ogre and changed her tactic, this time aiming a punch at the thing's legs in an attempt to make it crumble. With any luck it would still be distracted enough by Rose's swinging to ignore her before she could make her move.

A voice in the back of Ilia's head complained about how she was letting children upstage her. Ilia told the voice to shut it, she was trying to concentrate on killing some giant monsters, so thank you very much.
