[ from here ]

That stalking feeling followed Erika even to this room, which was quickly explained when she turned around and saw what exactly had followed her out of the hallway: a cat, probably drawn by the rat's carcass. Well, that's what Erika would have reasoned out if it weren't for the fact that the cat was focused on her, bearing wicked fangs as it circled her, hissing.

Really, the whole time she had been here, she had hardly seen any of these creatures, and now they were coming out of the woodwork. Well, at least she knew what happened to the Sun Room cats. Not in the catbox anymore, where they... Instead of fleeing, Erika stared the creature down and lifted her sword, even though she knew it was a pointless act. She didn't know the first thing about swordplay, but it was better to cut this creature down instead of letting it follow her. Besides, it would interfere... and she couldn't have that.

The cat lunged at her, and though Erika managed to throw herself off to the side before it's claw connected with flesh, she wasn't spared: she yelped as she felt hair rip from her scalp, noticing that the cat's claws had yanked out quite a chunk out of one of her pigtails. The detective gaped at this horrible, terrible, most grievous of all insults. Goddamnit all, Sync was right!

"My... MY HAIR!" She shrieked, loud enough to even make the cat wince at the volume of her screech.

[ for sync and gabe, the worst threadmates for the worst thread. ]
