The hall was already full of people, heading determinedly this way or that and ignoring most everything else. The difference though, between last night and tonight, was the much heavier scent of blood in the air, tension, a feeling of being watched.
Worry wasn't something he wasted time on, though each nerve was on edge, waiting, should anything decide to pounce. Heine stayed out of the way, brushing to one side or the other when people passed him as he continued.
