"Okay," Renji said. He'd offer. He wasn't going to push; Hisoka was a Shinigami, so he ought to be able to take care of himself. And maybe Hisoka could do something similar, though he kind of doubted it since the kid hadn't even known what spirit threads were.
He watched Hisoka at least make an attempt at eating, then returned to his map drawing.
"I bet all the files are like that," he said. "Tryin' to make us sound normal. I just wonder, why go to all the damn trouble? Unless maybe most of the staff's not in on the game." Which was a little annoying, since it meant that it was a lot less acceptable to hurt the nurses and such in the process of escape if they were, in fact, innocent bystanders. "And yeah... it's worrying that they know so much. About Shinigami, especially." He frowned. "I died when I was 'bout four or five, so most of my 'life' happened in the spirit world. So how the hell would they know about that? And do they just know events, or exactly what we can do as well? They didn't mention any of my spirit abilities in the file Wilson showed me."
