Jack was still feeling rather bemused by his encounter with Rukia, if a little off balance because he'd been talking about the whole getting left behind thing. He was in a good enough mood, though, as he followed the nurse back to his room. This one was old and a bit fumpy, but he flirted with her anyway, even though she ignored him. It was the principle of the thing, after all.

He sat on his desk and started working on his pot pie, just relaxing before the night started. He'd be meeting up with Gin, so that was pretty much all the plan he needed for now.
