Utena knew the river Tear was talking about; she remembered it from that previous excursion with Himemiya. So, Utena figured, that was probably going to be easy to find if they went in pretty much the same direction she and Himemiya had gone before. In which case, it only made sense to take the same exit as before.

"Out through the greenhouse yard's probably easiest," Utena suggested. Renamon seemed to agree, which was good; they could get moving all the faster if everyone was all on the same page.

Utena took the lead, hurrying them past the (shiver) Medical Wing entrance and into the hall that would take them outside.
