Anise paused again, waiting quietly for a response. She could faintly hear Guy's voice, and then Claude again, calling back to her. They were coming for her... That knowledge allowed Anise to calm down a little.

"Be careful!" she shouted back to them. Anise wasn't in immediate danger, but there could be traps or obstacles between her and her friends. They couldn't move too recklessly, even if Anise wanted to get out of that cage as soon as possible.

Since her hands weren't strong enough to move the metal bars, Anise decided to try kicking them instead. Her attempts were followed with several loud slamming noises that echoed through the room. In the end, all she succeeded at was making the cage sway so much that she lost her balance and fell over. She sat up but didn't climb back to her feet right away, deciding to wait for the swaying to stop.
