It was obvious that they weren't the first ones to make it here, which was not surprising when considering the fact that they'd had to reroute to such an extent. Guy still thought they'd been moving pretty fast, though, and now they were so close he could almost taste it.

Not that he really knew what they were about to face would taste like. Chances were it wouldn't be anything good.

Guy actually took some pleasure in the coldness of the room, mainly because he knew they were only going to be in here for a short while. He nodded in response to Claude's suggestion and moved ahead of him and Anise to head down the revealed staircase.
