When Souji pouted like that, it was like he was letting himself be led around by a twelve-year-old, not a grown captain of the Shinsengumi. He rolled his eyes a little and took the lighter back, glaring at it. "What did you do?"

Of course, he wasn't actually counting on Souji cluing him in.

He looked away from the lighter when Souji tugged on his sleeve--again with the lack of maturity--and towards the open room.

"That," he replied, setting aside his lighter experiments for the moment, "looks like a trap." Souji wanted to check it out, though, so he'd go along with it, though he wasn't about to lower his guard.
