He'd claim something like it being dangerous, as though the Coluan wasn't a superhero and capable of defending himself in his own right. He felt certain that Peter's other friends didn't get such warning and attempt to protect them from everything.
...for some reason he wasn't entirely certain of, that thought was almost as appealing as it was infuriating. Brainiac 5 considered it in a little more detail, mentally running tests in the form of several hypothetical situations (entirely different from daydreams), each featuring a different level of protectiveness on Peter's part.
He was still thinking of them as he continued into the next hallway.
