"It's not that bad. Probably just give me heavy stuff and let me clean the same tile without realizing it. No thanks, man." A few aspirin would go down great, but asking for it was asking for trouble, and he was too groggy to start a sit-in before breakfast. They didn't need martyrs, they needed information, so he'd play their dominance game.

"I got my memory back. If you were wondering." Anyone in their right mind would be. Whether or not compassion was in the cards, what happened to one patient tended to spread.

He shrugged, and carefully knelt. About halfway through he regretted the move. Asking for a mop might have been a better plan. Too late. He grunted softly, but didn't bitch about it. Not when maiming was the capstone to a good night, rather than the all-torture channel or flashback reruns.
