Night 75: Sun Room
[From here]
Link broke into a run as soon as he crossed the threshold of the Sun Room. Even if something was waiting for them in here, there was absolutely no time to be wasted. He only made sure that Sora was still with him as he approached the door into the library.

Sora and his friend were long gone, but they'd clearly made it across the room without being attacked. Lana slipped across the room, sticking to the shadows. She was taking larger steps with her left leg than her right, but she was still moving quickly.

They'd have bigger things to worry about if they ran into something that took more than 8 of his rounds and however many simultaneous rounds of hers to kill.
He didn't like not pausing to clear the room, but it had been quiet. If something was in wait, it had elected not to attack Sora. He had never met Sora, but he had met the majority of the remaining patients at least once, and his impression of Sora from the bulletin board was of someone young and enthusiastic. By process of elimination, Sora probably looked like easier pickings than L or Lana did, so L's assumption probably wasn't too much of a gamble.
